Jack's Christmas Party
Jack had a fun time at the Christmas program, showing Grandma and Mommy his toys and friends at school, and eating lunch with Daddy. He did not have a fun time with Santa! He was literally shaking he was so scared for a minute after I picked him up. So sad! We traumatized him! We love Jack's school and his teacher is really great with the kids!

Family Fun & Thanksgiving
My aunt came to visit from Costa Rica and my grandma came to visit from South Carolina for a week of fun with Jackson. JoJo immediately was Jack's best friend and he wanted to spend every waking moment with her. It was funny to see how my mom (normally his favorite person) was temporarily bumped down a spot on his favorite people list. Of course she was right back on top after JoJo went back home, but she saw how I feel sometimes when I come home from work and he says ,"No!". MJ was amazed at Jack's development since she saw him in August. She thought he was even talking more by the end of the week she was here. MeMe loved spending time with Jackson too. Jack loves MeMe's stroller (walker) and he rode around on it and liked sitting with Meme. MeMe taught Jack how to break the ends off of green beans. Now if someone would teach him to actually eat them, we will really be getting somewhere. I had so much fun spending time with my mom, MJ, and MeMe. We shopped, baked, cooked, went to the grocery store, watched the Wiggles and Barney, and celebrated Thanksgiving. I am so glad that they were able to come in town. Jackson says their names in his prayers and "calls" them on his pretend phone often. We all miss them everyday!

Jack cheering on the runners.
Our family has a tradition of running or walking in the Turkey Trot every Thanksgiving. My dad has run the race on and off since before I was born. Adam and I ran/walked one year while dating, took a year off for our honeymoon and have now ran/walked in four in a row as a married couple. This was my first time to actually run the race. I was so proud of myself because I didn't have to stop once. This was only my second 5K to run so I was happy about my time. My dad and Adam ran the 10K and both did well. Jack played in the bounce house, rode a pony, and played in the petting zoo that they had set up with my mom while we ran. He had a blast!

Santa Joe
We had a good time with Santa's helper Joe. Jack would not sit in his lap, but would give him high five. Ella and Hayden were terrified of Santa Joe too, but looked super cute. Jack had fun playing piano with Caroline. Sadly, Jack was not in the mode to pose for a cute Christmas card picture. Oh well! Better luck next year. Thanks to Donna and Joe for having us over.
